VENUE HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bookings and Payments

• A booking is not confirmed until required deposit or payment has been received.

 

• Final event details, guest numbers, supplier arrangements and run sheet details must be provided by the agreed deadline.

 

• District 34 may refuse, cancel or vary bookings that create safety, licensing, compliance or operational concerns.

Client Responsibilities

• The hirer is responsible for the conduct of guests, suppliers, performers and contractors.

 

• The hirer must comply with venue rules, safety directions, RSA requirements, security directions and applicable laws.

 

• No decorations, equipment, signage or installations may be used if they damage the venue or create a hazard.

Venue Access and Pack Down

• Access times must be agreed in advance.

 

• The venue must be left in a clean and orderly condition unless cleaning has been separately arranged.

 

• Additional cleaning, overtime or reset costs may be charged where required. Important:

TICKETED EVENTS TERMS

These terms apply to public ticketed events, entertainment nights, special events and promoted events at
District 34.

Ticket Conditions

• Entry may be subject to age restrictions, capacity limits, dress standards, ticket validity and venue conditions of
entry.

 

• Tickets must not be resold in a misleading, fraudulent or unlawful manner.

• Website, enquiry form, analytics, cookie and marketing preference information.

Refunds and Changes

• Refunds are not provided for change of mind, no-shows, late arrival or failure to comply with conditions of entry.


• If an event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by District 34, customers may be eligible for a refund, credit
or transfer where applicable.

Venue Rights

• District 34 may vary entertainment, performers, start times or event layout where reasonably required.


• Management may refuse entry or remove patrons where required for safety, compliance or behaviour reasons.
